Lisa is the founder of Prime Sports Physiotherapy, with many years of experience in elite
sport, paediatrics, and orthopaedic rehabilitation, as well as in the NHS. She has worked
with children throughout her career - in Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, where
she developed a strong foundation as a paediatric Clinical Specialist, as well as working in
local rugby club academies and independent schools, and national and regional teams for
Scottish Rugby.

In addition to her clinical work, Lisa is a certified Pilates instructor, integrating core stability
and movement control into rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes.
Lisa leads the Prime team, offering expert care in sports injury management, post-operative
rehab, and physiotherapy for all ages.

Sarah is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist at Prime Sports Physiotherapy, offering expert
care in back, neck and joint pain, orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy and
physiotherapy for older adults. Based at our Balerno and Dalmahoy clinics, she also
provides home visits for clients needing physiotherapy at home.

Sarah specialises in sports physiotherapy, helping active individuals recover from injury and
return to peak performance. As a passionate runner and bouldering enthusiast herself, she
brings personal insight and empathy to her work with athletes of all levels.
Sarah’s calm, professional approach and evidence-based, hands-on care help clients
recover, move confidently, and reach their goals.

Claragh is a dynamic sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapist at Prime Sports
Physiotherapy, with expertise in sports injuries, back, neck and joint pain, strength and
conditioning, orthopaedic rehabilitation, and hands-on treatment techniques. She supports
patients across all levels of performance.

Claragh also holds a master’s degree in Strength & Conditioning and specialises in bridging
the gap between injury recovery and peak performance. When not at Prime, she works in
professional football, providing physiotherapy and rehab support to elite athletes.

A keen runner, footballer and Gaelic footballer, Claragh has represented Northern Ireland
and played for Hearts Women’s Football Club, as well as being part of the British
Championship winning Gaelic Football Team. Her personal experience in high-level sport
gives her unique insight into the demands of training, competition, and recovery.

Courtney is a musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist at Prime Sports Physiotherapy,
with specialist expertise in back, neck and joint pain, acupuncture, sports injuries and
orthopaedic rehabilitation. She consults from our Balerno clinic and works as an Advanced
Practice Physiotherapist within the NHS.

Courtney is also trained in acupuncture for pain relief and muscle release, integrating this into her physiotherapy practice. Courtney has years of experience as a team physiotherapist in rugby, providing pitch-side
care, injury assessment, and rehabilitation for players.

Her deep understanding of the challenges of sport, as well as being a marathon runner herself, makes her especially effective in guiding athletes through their recovery journey.

respiratory conditions with expert care.

Wendy is a certified BradCliff Breathing practitioner, using this internationally
recognised method to assess and treat dysfunctional breathing. She works with
clients experiencing symptoms such as breathlessness, chest tightness, fatigue, and
anxiety linked to their breathing. Her clinical expertise includes managing long-term
respiratory conditions, supporting clients with tailored breathing retraining, symptom
control, and functional recovery.

Wendy also helps individuals recover from post-viral respiratory symptoms and improve overall breathing efficiency.

He holds an MSc in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Therapy from SETU, Ireland. Barry has experience in NHS wards, private MSK clinics, and high-performance sport, focusing on strength-based rehab and objective testing to support safe return to activity.

As an active Gaelic football player with a passion for strength training and sport, Barry brings a practical, hands-on approach that helps patients reduce pain and move confidently.

Nina Webster is a sports massage therapist with a background in sport rehabilitation and is currently completing her master’s in physiotherapy. She offers hands-on, tailored treatments to help ease pain, improve movement, and support recovery, whether you’re an athlete or simply dealing with everyday aches and niggles.

Nina has experience working in post-surgical rehabilitation within cardiothoracic and respiratory settings, as well as in sport. She has been the sports therapist for the Dunbar Football Team, providing pitchside care, injury management, and pre-match taping. This allows her to confidently support both sporting and non-sporting clients.

Passionate about using manual therapy to make a real difference, Nina takes a calm, friendly approach to help clients feel more comfortable, move better, and feel more like themselves again.

Filip is a sports therapist and fitness coach at Prime Sports Physiotherapy, providing hands-on sports massage therapy alongside coached fitness and strength-based sessions to support recovery, movement quality, and performance. He works with a wide range of active individuals, from recreational gym-goers to competitive athletes.

Filip has extensive experience delivering sports and therapeutic massage, with hands-on work across rugby, American football, hockey, and endurance events, including national-level rugby and post-event marathon recovery. His clinical background includes hands-on soft tissue therapy and experience supporting injury recovery gained through college injury clinics, sports team placements, and private practice.

Alongside his massage therapy work, Filip coaches strength and fitness classes with a strong focus on technique, progressive loading, and safe movement. His combined experience in sports therapy and gym-based coaching allows him to bridge the gap between treatment and return to training effectively.

Filip is currently completing a BSc (Hons) in Sports Rehabilitation and is committed to ongoing professional development within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

Matthew is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with extensive experience working in strength and conditioning. Having worked with Scottish Hockey, cricket Scotland and Scottish lacrosse he has experience with international level athletes from both Junior to Senior level. Matthew also has experience working with those who are just finding their way in the world of fitness.

Prior to physiotherapy Matthew has also worked as a cardiorespiratory rehabilitation coach and has been a qualified sports masseur for 6+ years and has worked pitch-side with Aberdeen Football Club.

Jess Reynolds is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a special interest in the treatment of a wide range of injuries, including back, neck and joint pain, orthopaedic rehabilitation and sports-related injuries.

Through thorough assessment and a strong emphasis on hands-on treatment, Jess tailors each rehabilitation plan to the individual, helping them return to the activities they enjoy as safely and efficiently as possible.

Jess holds an MSc in Physiotherapy and a diploma in Sports Massage, allowing her to integrate effective manual therapy techniques into her treatment approach to optimise recovery and performance. She also supports the Watsonians Women’s Rugby team by providing sports massage and taping for training sessions and on match days. Outside of work she is a keen boulderer.
